The Perfumes

Pursuing the scent of the South in the air, with his eyes turned toward the other side of Mediterranean, toward Morocco, Olivier Durbano created a perfume for Hafa Hammam with the fragrances of green tea and incense, with notes of citrus and amber.

A perfume born from an encounter between the Eastern universe and the contemporary West, in the incessant search for an ancestral llink between Italy and the people of the Mediterranean. Dedicated to meen and women, to perfume them and their environment.

Notes in the perfume

Head: grapefruit, incense, cumin, nutmeg, cardamom and coriander.

Heart: geranium, rose, jasmine, lily of the valley

Foundation: Atlas cedar, patchouli, musk, vetiver, moss, benzoin resin, ambergris...

Bath Oils

The ritual of the aromatic bath has been known and appreciated since ancient times. The bath oils fro, the Hafa Hammam line, with their natural essential oil base of verbena and mint, typical plants from Morocco, are also ideal to use in a hydro massage bath.

Mint bath oil, refreshing and invigorating, gives a burst of energy.

Verbena bath oil has a relaxing effect, ideal each time you want to relax the body and the mind.

Body Oils

Body Oils from the Hafa Hammam line are made up of a sinergy of essential oils studied to strengthen the beneficial effects of the typical plants from the Moroccan aromatherapy tradition.  With a base of argan oil and sesame oil, both rich in Vitamin E, an antioxidant, they are easily absorbed. Through massage, the body absorbs the refreshing and invigorating properties of mint, the relaxing and antistress properties of verbena, and the reducing and smoothing virtues of lemon-cedar.

Argan Oil

From the argan, a tree that grows only in the Southwestern area of Morocco, a rare and precious oil with a thousand virtues is extracted. Rich in Vitamin E, it has been used for centuries by Berber women for its nutritive, protective, stimulating and regenerating properties for the skin, hair and nails. Argan oil helps to slow down the skin's aging process; it's rich in tocopherols, a natural antioxidant with a strong anti-wrinkling power; it stimulates cellular activity, resists the formation of free radicals, and fights sagging. It is considered, therefore, the natural anti-aging substance par excellence.

Oils for the Face

Facial treatments with a base of argan oil and precious natural essential oils such as neroli and rose. Neroli, the blossom from the bitter orange tree, is a gret ally in cellular regeneration, bringing the nutrients necessary to resist free radicals and minimize the signs of aging. Roses have hydrating, astringent and tonic properties. An oil for all skin types, it is particularly suited for older and fragile skin that is lacking tone.

Body Milks

For those who love light and delicate textures, easily absorbed, Hafa Hammam offers body milks with argan oil enriched with natural essential neroli oil and mint oil. Oil of argan, rich in Vitamin E, has nutritive, hydrating and regenerating properties, ideal for the body's wellbeing.

Neroli body milk has revitalising effects; the blossoms and the leaves of the bitter orange tree bring the nutritive elements to the skin that are necessary to mantain its normal structure.

Mint body milk has a refreshing and invigorating effect; it gives the body a pleasant sensation of freshness thanks to the fragrance of nanah mint, typically Moroccan.

Hair Care

Hair, in order to mantain its volume and shine, must be treated with care and defended from aggressive outside agents. The Hafa Hammam line offers a shampoo enriched with the natural essential clove oil and a balsam with the natural essential rosemary oil. Both of these oil have purifying properties and stimulate the circulation of the scalp, supporting the hair's health and preventing early hair loss. Clove shampoo and rosemary balsam are ideal to complete deep hair care after a henna or ghassoul pack.

Desert Sand

Authentic, fine sand from the Saharan Deser, in the South of Morocco, scented with orange blossoms. It evokes magical atmospheres, it gives a pleasant fragrance to rooms, and it eliminates bad odors.

Soaps

Hafa Hammam soaps naturally clean the face and body with the action of argan and ghassoul. the elements at the base of traditional Moroccan cosmetics.

Argan soap, rich in Vitamin E, stimulates cellular activity, has soothing and softening properties, and is particularly suited for dry or sensitive skin. Ghassoul soap, which cleans and invigorates thanks to its natural clay properties, is particularly suited for combination and oily skin.

The Hammam Ritual

Beldi black soap, made following an ancient and secret recipe, with an olive base and enriched with essential oils, prepares the body for the gommage, both at the hammam as well as at home, by helping to loosen dead cells without harming the skin. Olive oil, nutritive and protective, leaves the skin soft and bright. The addiction of lavender and eucalyptus essential oils increases the beneficial effects and leaves the skin with a particularly pleasant scent. Hafa Hammam offers a set comprised of black Beldi soap with essential oils, a Kessa glove - the typical Moroccan coarse glove, an exfoliating disk for the areas where the skin tends to thicken, and a terracotta foot scrubber for an authentic hammam ritual at home.

Henna and Ghassoul

Henna and Ghassoul are elements at the foundation of traditional Moroccan beauty care for the body and hair.

Henna, the propitiating plant of happiness and prosperity, is traditionally used for body drawings because of the amber color it leaves on the skin. It gives hair volume, shine and natural copper reflections. It is used as a body pack because of its purifying properties, its ability to eliminate redness, and to give the skin a bronze-like effect.

Ghassoul, the natural Moroccan clay extracted from the area of the Middle Atlas Mountains, is used to clean hair and to purify, invigorate and nurture the skin.

Ghassoul, deeply appreciated since the time of antiquity, is used as a natural shampoo to delicately wash hair without altering keratin, giving volume and shine. A body pack purifies, adds minerals, and strengthens the skin. Its physiological ph balance makes it naturally compatible with all skin types.
